JORDAN RENEE BROCCOLI

July 13, 1994 – May 26, 2017

Our beautiful, loving daughter passed away peacefully on May 26, 2017 in Boca Raton, Florida.  Jordan was born in Newark, Delaware.  She was a graduate of Newark High School in 2012, and she attended the University of Delaware, prior to moving to Florida.

Jordan was a very talented athlete. She enjoyed swimming on the swim team with her cousins, and playing soccer and field hockey, but she truly excelled in Lacrosse.  She was captain of her team as a senior, and was very proud of the fact that she scored over 100 goals during her high school career.  Some compared her to a gazelle on the field, because of her speed and long legs.

Jordan was also a very fashionable and artistic person.  She dabbled in modeling and had a knack for doing hair, makeup and nails. Somehow she always looked put together even in sweatpants, a bandana and one of her many pairs of Air Jordan sneakers.

She touched many lives with her unique sense of humor and could spark laughter in any situation.  Those who knew Jordan appreciated her quick wit and special brand of sarcasm.   She was very adventurous and had a deep passion for the beach, snowboarding, music and camping with her family and friends.  Jordan worked as a Crisis Counselor in Florida where she helped others with addiction.

Jordan was predeceased by her grandparents, Gerald and Alice Nixon.  She is survived by her parents, Frank and Mindy Broccoli, brother, Michael, of Newark, Delaware and her grandparents, Frank and Judy Broccoli of Wilmington, Delaware.  She was also loved by many Aunts and Uncles, Robin and Melanie Nixon, Lisa and Geoff Straga,  Don and Sue Nixon, Tom and  Sue Broccoli,  Joe and Kate Broccoli, and many cousins and friends.

Jordan had a special gift of helping others throughout her life.  In keeping with her loving and generous spirit, it was her decision to donate her organs and she was able to save the lives of two others in need. And so her spirit will live on and she will forever be in our hearts…

Be a hero and save a life!

Memorial donations can be made to Life Alliance Organ Recovery Agency in Miami, Florida
