It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stephen "Steve" Joseph Dennison on November 17, 2023. Born on February 10, 1948, in Scranton, PA, Steve was a beloved husband, father, and friend. Steve leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, having shared 54 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Diane. Together, they built a life filled with joy, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Steve is survived by his two daughters, Susan and Linda, along with their spouses Kent and Todd. His family was a source of immense pride and joy throughout his life.

Steve's passion for life was evident in his diverse interests and pursuits. An avid golfer, he found solace and joy on the golf course, creating lasting bonds with friends and fellow enthusiasts. Steve had a palate for culinary delights and enjoyed exploring new restaurants, savoring the flavors of different cuisines. His love for travel took him to various corners of the world, creating a tapestry of experiences that enriched his life. Education was a cornerstone of Steve's journey, and he proudly held a Bachelor of Science degree from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. Continuing his pursuit of knowledge, he obtained his master's degree from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY, setting a strong foundation for his successful career.

In 1972, Steve made a life-changing decision to relocate from New York to Florida, a move that brought him immense happiness. He dedicated 38 years of his professional life to the Florida Department of Health, making significant contributions to public health. Steve embraced retirement 13 years ago, allowing him to fully enjoy the fruits of his labor and spend more time with his loved ones.

Steve's connection to his faith was unwavering, and he was a devoted parishioner of Ascension Catholic Church in Boca Raton. His commitment to the community extended beyond the church, as he actively supported the Ministry of the Needy at Ascension Catholic Church. Steve Dennison's passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew and loved him. May we remember him for his warmth, generosity, and the indelible mark he left on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest in peace, Steve.

Family will receive friends Friday, November 24, 2023 4-8pm at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, November 25, 2023, 11am at Ascension Catholic Church. The service will be live streamed at https://ascensionboca.org/
