Nancy Crage, 86, of Boca Raton, Florida passed away February 24th, 2022, at the home she and her late husband, Dr. Paul Crage, designed and built themselves.
Born January 15th, 1936 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Nancy was raised in Miami Beach. She joined the Central Intelligence Agency as a young woman and worked extensively throughout Europe and Asia. It was in Pakistan where she met Paul, an Army doctor stationed at the same location. They moved back to the US where they had 3 children, eventually settling in Boca Raton in early 1970’s.
Nancy got her Master’s Degree here at FAU, graduating summa cum laude in Criminal Justice and a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. She was a passionate and accomplished artist specializing in decoupage. She became very involved with the National Guild of Decoupeurs, where she established many lifelong friendships.
As established as she was to the outside world, it was at home where she shined brightest. A tough but loving mother, she was perfect for raising three boys. Never one to back down, she kept them in line, never missed a game, and made sure they were always on track. It’s here where she’ll be missed most, not only by her children but all those who passed through.
Nancy will be remembered by her three sons: Jim and wife Wendy, Paul and wife Elizabeth, Tom, and six grandchildren: Cameron, Madison, Kai, Kira, Peyton, and Connor.
There are no funeral services currently planned.
