It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Vicas who gracefully departed from this world on October 16th, 2023. A radiant soul of 82 years. Maria’s journey in this world was marked by boundless love, enduring friendships, and moments that touched the lives of many.

Born in Arad, Romania on June 25th, 1941, Maria’s zest for life led her to explore nature. Maria was an avid reader with an undying curiosity for the outdoors, hiking, climbing mountains, and water sports who became a beacon of inspiration for many who had the privilege of knowing her.

In her professional realm, Maria was recognized for her hard work and impeccable work ethic as an accountant for over four decades.  Her dedication to the people she worked with as well as the company had a lasting impact, making her a cherished figure in the community.

To Maria, the family was everything. Her warmth and care bound the family together, creating a haven of love and support. She leaves behind a daughter, Gratiana Nagy, and grandson, Patrick Steven Nagy, who will forever cherish the memories and lessons imparted by Maria.

Friends, family, and acquaintances will come together to honor Maria's life 2:00 p.m. on November 5th, 2023, at Gary Panoch Funeral Home, 6140 N Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL (561) 887-8580. All are welcome to join in remembrance and celebration of the vibrant life Maria led.

Maria will always be remembered not just for the life she lived, but also for the love she gave away. Her legacy of kindness, compassion, and joy will forever remain etched in our hearts.
