Lois Sharon (Preblod) Warren

Lois Sharon Warren, 92, of Boca Raton, Fl passed peacefully away, on August 4, 2023, with her daughter Julie by her side.

Lois was born in Providence, Rhode Island on April 27, 1931, to parents Julius Preblod and Lillian nee Rubin. Her family was proud of her high academic achievement including attending Tufts University’s Jackson College for Women. After moving to Boca Raton, Fl, she completed her degree from Nova University with a B.S. in Psychology.  

Throughout her life, Lois was an avid lover of all the arts…music, theater, dance, paintings, and sculptures. She had a keen fashion sense and surrounded herself with beauty in all its forms. She also had a strong interest in current world events, business news, health discoveries and traveled extensively.

Lois worked closely with her husband, William, as a bookkeeper in his produce business for many years.

Lois is survived by her children Pamela (Jeffery) Stroberg, Dean (Erzsebet) Shore, Julie Warren-Ross, Jill Warren (Samuel) Brett, and Richard (Nancy Kerr) Warren. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.  Lois is predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years William, daughter Leslie Shore, brother Joel Preblod, and son-in-law Gerald Ross.

The internment will take place Tuesday, 1:30 PM, August 8, 2023 at the Boca Raton Mausoleum, 451 SW 4th Avenue, Boca Raton, FL 33429.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
