Linda Jean Ragan, a beloved mother and former insurance executive, passed away on March 7, 2024, in Delray Beach, Florida, at the age of 71. She was born on March 30, 1952, in Brooklyn, New York, to Angela and Alex Grushinsky.

Linda grew up in Brooklyn alongside her older brother Robert Grushinsky, who survives her. She attended Lincoln High School in New York, where she laid the foundation for her future endeavors. With a career spanning over 13 years in the insurance industry, Linda excelled as an insurance executive. She reached the prestigious role of Vice President at the reinsurance brokerage firm Intere Intermediaries, having previously worked at AIG. Linda chose to retire from her professional pursuits to devote herself fully to her family after the birth of her first son, Daniel.

Linda married Edward Ragan and was blessed with two sons, Daniel and Michael Ragan, both of whom survive her. Linda cherished her role as a mother above all else. Her devotion to her children was unwavering, and she found immense joy in nurturing and supporting them throughout their lives. In her leisure time, Linda was known for her sociable nature and love for conversation. She was a talker who could effortlessly strike up a dialogue with strangers and make them feel at ease. Her genuine interest in people and her warm personality left a lasting impression on everyone she met. In her later years, Linda relocated to Florida, settling in Delray Beach, where she spent her retirement enjoying the warm weather and interacting with members of her local community.
