John M Silks

John Martin Silks of West Yarmouth MA and Boca Raton, Florida passed away after a life-long battle with Diabetes.

 He was married for 14 years to his bride Susan. Susan and John were friends and taught middle and high school for the Barnstable School System after John’s career as a property manager in Aspen, Colorado.  John was a competent guitar player. He played out with small groups both on Cape Cod and in Boca Raton. John has a collection of guitars which was one of his hobbies along with swimming, surfing, skiing, and listening to music.

He is also survived by his brother Robert of Sandwich, MA & MD and was predeceased by his parents; Ed and Aldona Silks, brothers; David and Jeffrey.

John’s wife Susan would love spouse and family daily to be kind to one another, we never know when your loved one is going to be taken from us.

 John will be greatly missed by his loving wife, friends, and family.

 A celebration of Life will be held for John at the Yarmouth House Restaurant, Yarmouth, MA on Monday, July 25th, 2022 at 1pm.

 In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in memory of John Silks to the American Diabetes Association in Boston or the MSPCA of Cape Cod.
