Gregory "Greg" Frantz Nau passed away unexpectedly on November 6th, 2020 at the age of 57 in Fort Myers.
Greg was born in Port-au-Prince, Haïti on April 1st, 1963 to Franck (Franky) Nau and Leonie Comeau Nau. He attended elementary school at Saint-Louis de Gonzague. At the age of 11, he and his brother emigrated to the the United States living in Queens Village, New York for many years. After graduating from Martin Van Buren High School in Queens, he attended Ulster County Community College where he received a degree in Data Processing. It didn't take Greg long to realize that Information Technology was not for him. Hence, he pursued a career in healthcare and landed on Respiratory Therapy. He graduated as a Respiratory Therapist from Molloy College and there he found his passion and has worked in this field until his death.
Greg met his wife Ingrid in Queens, New York through her cousin Harry but the romance did not blossom until years later when they reconnected in Florida. They married in July 2002 and from this union his daughter Leila, the apple of his eye, was born in December 2004.
Greg is survived by his wife Ingrid Chrisphonte Nau, his daughter Leila, his brother Vadja Nau, his aunt Denise Nau, countless cousins, life long friends and colleagues. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents Franck and Leonie Nau.
