He was born on April 12, 1931, in Amherstburg, Ontario, Canada, and his life was a testament to warmth, kindness, and a zest for life.
Fred is survived by his cherished children; Frederick (Patricia), Rex (Leslie), Diana (Rick) Labosco, and Edana (Bill) Broich, who remember him as a devoted and caring father who instilled in them the values of love and resilience. His grandchildren; Valerie (Ron) Fuller, Jennifer (Jeff) Comfort, Michael (Phuong) Labosco, Jessica (Edwin) Garcia, and Matthew Broich, held a special place in his heart, and his great-grandchildren; Morgan and Nicholas Comfort, Brady and Benjamin Fuller, and Anya and Edwin Garcia, brought immeasurable joy to his later years.
Fred was predeceased by his beloved wife, Alice, with whom he shared 54 wonderful years of marriage. The couple's enduring love and unwavering support for each other served as a true inspiration to all who knew them. Fred was also preceded in death by his grandson, Luke Hamilton, whose memory he held close to his heart.
Throughout his life, Fred was a skilled and dedicated master electrician. He took great pride in his work and made a lasting impact in his profession. In addition to his professional accomplishments, he was an esteemed member of the Masonic Lodge, where he fostered many deep and lasting friendships.
One of Fred's greatest joys was pursuing his hobbies and passions. He was an avid fisherman, finding solace and tranquility by the water, and his travels took him to places far and wide, creating memories that he cherished dearly. Fred's infectious smile and friendly personality endeared him to all who crossed his path, making him a friend to many and a source of happiness to his family.
As we say our goodbyes to Frederick H. Hamilton, we remember a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, a love for adventure, and the importance of cherishing those we hold dear. Fred's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 26, 2023, 10-11am with an 11am funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Boca Raton Cemetery where he will be laid to rest next to his wife, Alice. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Shriners Children’s or Vitas Healthcare in his honor.
