Frances "Fran" Elaine (Burns) Boyle

Frances "Fran" Boyle (née Burns), a resident of Boca Raton, FL for over 30 years, passed away Sunday, September 18 at the age of 67. Fran was born on November 14, 1954 in Philadelphia, PA to William and Gwendolyn, and attended LeSalle University. 
A child of the 60s and 70s, Fran's early life was deeply embedded in the music scene, whether it be going to Baptist church services with her mother to hear the choir or sneaking onto the El train to go downtown and see The Kinks. A privileged acquaintance would hear Fran recount tales of rockstar encounters and strategic friendships made with security at her favorite venues so she could get admittance while she was underage. A close friend would see photos of Fran in the midst of her Ziggy Stardust phase, with shaggy hair and shaved eyebrows. Her stories showed a life full of excitement, love, strength, and resilience, which culminated in the growth of a loving family and career working with special needs students at Eagles Landing Middle School for two decades.
Fran will remain in the hearts of many: her husband of 40 years, Dennis; her two children, Colin and Marissa; her two grandchildren, Arabela and Harper; her brother and sister, Billy and Debbie; the countless friends, coworkers, and local store employees whose lives were touched by her kindness, dedication, and willingness to start a conversation with anyone.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, September 24 from 8:00 - 10:30 a.m. at Gary Panoch Funeral Home.
