Eugene "Gene" Pacifico, 84, of Delray Beach, Florida passed away on October 16, 2020.
Born February 4, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York to Parents Frank and Lillian. Gene at an early age showed a love for music. He learned to play the saxophone and clarinet and later formed his band the "Gene Pacific Orchestra". His band was an instant success around town headlining as the house band at the El Caribe Country Club in Brooklyn, N.Y. Gene married his wife Joan which produced two loving children and lived in Staten Island. Gene started his career on Wall Street in New York City. In 1972, he formed his own Corporation "Staat Personnel Inc.", where as Owner and President his company was the top recruiting firm in the Insurance industry for over 30 years. Gene retired to Florida with his second wife Madeline. He was very active in his community and served on the committee for the Italian American Club, Tennis and Bocce. Gene will be lovingly be remembered by his children Eugene, Lauren and their mother Joan. Son-in-law Edward Friend and Nicholas Haros and predeceased wife Madeline.
Family will receive friends, Wednesday, October 21st at 9 a.m.-10:30am
at Gary Panoch Funeral home 6140 N. Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL 33487. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Boynton following the vistation. Burial will be held at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made in memory of Gene Pacifico to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
