Ellyn Nesic

Ellyn Berner Nesic of Boca Raton, Florida passed away at home on February 28, 2020 from complications of Parkinson’s disease. Ellyn was born in Pottstown, PA in 1941 but grew up in North Miami, Florida.  She joined the medical profession with a private general practitioner office. Later in her career she audited medical records in both Dade and Broward Counties.  Her passions were first, her love of tennis, a game she played over 50 years.  Beautiful and vibrant, Ellyn grew magnificent gardens in Boca Raton and her home in Camden, Maine. She loved entertaining family and friends and was also an avid antiquer, selling and collecting.  She was devoted to her parents, Morris and Frances Leblang of Boca Raton, previously deceased, and her sons Jonathan and Alan Berner, as well as all her dogs.  She is survived by her son, Alan Berner of Boston MA, her sister Minna Golden of Gaithersburg, Maryland and her brother Oren Leblang of Raleigh, North Carolina. Her funeral is a private ceremony.
