Donald G. Stone
November 14, 1964 – May 10, 2021
Devoted father, cherished son, beloved brother, and dear friend Donald G. Stone passed away on May 10, 2021 at Boca Raton Hospital from complications of a workplace injury.
Born in Norfolk, Virginia, Don’s early years included moves with parents Ardyth and Donald Stone due to his father’s naval career. Ports of call included New Orleans and San Diego, with a final stop in Boca Raton. 
The whole family was active in scouting and the First United Methodist Church, and some of Don's favorite memories were winning the Pinewood Derby and being baptized in the ocean.
He attended A.D. Henderson University School and Boca Raton High School. Don was a skilled competitive swimmer, and loved to skateboard and water ski.  
Known for a wry sense of humor that he utilized to smile through any hardships life threw in his path, Don cared deeply for his family, loved his children with Vickie Snyder Childs more anything in the world, and would do just about anything anyone ever asked of him. He was also dedicated to his little dog Rylie, who he called his best friend. 
He was a neat freak and a hard worker; stubborn and determined. He was excellent with his hands, with talents ranging from woodworking to machinery, and could fix most things. He ran his own successful pool company for several years, then lent his expertise to several other top pool firms in the area. 
Don is predeceased by his father Donald Stone and son Adam Stone, and survived by his mother Ardyth and his daughter Carlie (of Boca Raton), his sister Susan (of Berlin, Germany), and his Uncle Bob Stone (of Media, Pennsylvania).

A celebration of life for Don Stone will be held Saturday May 15th at 3pm at First United Methodist Church, 625 NE Mizner Blvd, Boca Raton FL 33432
