In Loving Memory of Cristy Rose Jarrett

Cristy Rose Jarrett, a beacon of warmth and love, departed from this world on November 4, 2023, due to unforeseen medical complications. Born on March 28, 1981, in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Cristy's journey was marked by a deep commitment to family, a passion for event planning, and a heartfelt advocacy for autism causes.

After completing her education, Cristy found her professional calling as an integral part of the team at Boca Raton Resort and Club, where her talent in orchestrating memorable events flourished. Her work brought people together, transcending boundaries and creating lasting memories for all fortunate enough to be a part of the occasions she meticulously curated. Yet, Cristy's most cherished and fulfilling roles were those of a devoted wife and a loving mother to her two children, Brody and Madison. For sixteen years, she poured her heart and soul into creating a nurturing and joyful home, embodying the true essence of family. Beyond her immediate family, Cristy extended her love to the community by dedicating her time and energy to advocating for causes related to autism. Her compassion and advocacy touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible impact on those in need.

Cristy is survived by her beloved husband, Nicholas Jarrett, who shared in the joys and challenges of life by her side. She leaves behind her adoring children, Brody and Madison, who were the heartbeats of her existence. She is also survived by her parents, Richard and Cathy Joy, and her parent-in-laws, Ed and Linda Jarrett, along with "Mom" Cheryl Gommel. Cristy's siblings, Brother Daniel Joy and Sister Nicole Joy Reigh (David Reigh Jr.), along with brother-in-law Chris Jarrett and sister-in-law Alyssa Jarrett (Jason Barner), mourn her loss deeply. Cristy will be remembered with love by her cousins, Crystal D’Urso and Charles Greggs, and adored nieces and nephews: Adrianna, Valerie, Kameron, Donnie, and Caleb. She is also mourned by many loved aunts, uncles, and cousins. In her passing, Cristy is reunited with those who preceded her in death, including her grandparents Gabriel and Nina Greggs, Marlene Freylack, and her in-law Joan Gommel. She joins her great-grandparents Ed and Mary Henning, as well as Rose and Joe Freylack in eternal rest.

Cristy's legacy of love, compassion, and dedication to family and community will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the warmth of the memories she created and the love she shared with all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Family will receive friends Saturday, November 11, 2023, 12-1pm with a 1pm funeral service at the funeral home.
