Beverley Anne Sansum, 83, of Boca Raton, Florida passed away on September 7, 2022. Born on November 21, 1938 in London, Ontario, Canada, Bev was a pain in everyone’s ass. Everyone loved Bev, despite her rambunctious, argumentative, brash behavior. Her sense of humor and intellectual prowess made her belligerence endearing. She would tell you exactly what was on her mind, whether you liked it or not. Yet, she was so generous and kind to so many. One Christmas, she brought over 100 thoughtful and beautifully wrapped presents to her 3-month-old grandson. The time and expense she put into those presents boggles the mind.
Beverley was an avid reader who loved Ayn Rand and Michael Crichton. Unknown to most, she was an incredible artist who could capture the essence of a person with a few strokes of a pencil. She did many creative things in her life, including writing books and screenplays in addition to her art. In her day, Bev was also remarkable in the kitchen, feeding her family and friends feasts at holidays.
Bev’s sense of adventure had her family moving constantly and visiting wonderful places. She trapsed through Europe, snorkeled in the Cayman Islands, and went on Safari in Kenya.
Bev was married to Sam Sansum for over 20 years. Upon divorce they remained friends. Bev was survived by her son, Greg James Sansum, her grandsons, Colton Gregory Sansum and Scott James Sansum, and her niece, Kim Ange.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 10th at 4:00 pm at Gary Panoch Funeral Home located at 6140 N. Federal Highway, Boca Raton, Florida.
