Angela “Joanna” Bindrim passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 26th, 2020 in Pompano Beach, Florida. Angela was born on August 27th, 1935 in St. Augustine, Trinidad, West Indies. She was the daughter of the late Naomi and Mano Seesahai.
Angela lived in Trinidad until 1977, and then spent the rest of her years in Florida with her late husband, George Bindrim. She was predeceased by her sister Rosita Arthur and brother Murray Seesahai. She is survived by her two daughters, Beverly Bindrim of Boca Raton, FL and Joanna Lorenzo-Harrell of Seattle, WA; two grandchildren George Lorenzo of Tampa, FL and Jordana Lorenzo of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; sister Rhoda Duignan of Longwood, FL and brother Winston Seesahai of Houston Texas.
Angela was full of life, brought joy to all who knew her and was known as the life of the party. She was proud to be the wife to a U.S. Navy Commander, and was a part of the American Women’s Club at the US Navy Base in Trinidad. She was also a member of the North Miami Beach Garden Club upon arriving in the states. Angela enjoyed gardening, fishing, hosting parties, being with friends and going to the casino. She loved going to cricket matches in Trinidad and attending horse races. She was an amazing cook and was known for her homemade pepper sauce.
