YVETTE MOONEY

June 23, 1967 – July 21, 2017

Yvette "NotEnuffShoes" Mooney was born in England, but grew up in the warmer climates of Miami where she developed her impeccable fashion sense and timeless style. Talented and capable, she thrived in the airline industry. Her flight perks fueled her international travel: London remained a firm favorite; Italy came close. She loved great food from all cuisines, but nothing matched up to her mother's cooking.

Yvette was an avid student of her father's dry English wit, and the champion eye roller—bar none. She could, at the same time, be both sarcastic and loving, highly opinionated and kind. She would argue with you, but then she would, equally, argue for you.

She was a generous and fiercely loyal friend who opened both her heart and her home to those she loved. Extended friendships and relationships were made stronger when she connected people to each other; she was often the strongest link in the chain.

Yvette passed away on July 21, 2017 at the age of 50 after a short battle with cancer. She leaves behind her loving parents Sui Bee and Leslie, her favorite (admittedly, only) brother Paul, her beloved daughter Caroline, and legions of extended family and friends, including her ex-husband, Michael Delzotti.

In remembering her, she would have you be grateful for the too-short years she shared with us, and to know she loved us.

She would also like you to know that in Heaven, she finally has enough shoes.
