William Mitchel Ferrara, 33, of Boca Raton, Florida passed away on September 2, 2018, succumbing to his hard fought battle with addiction.

Born June 18, 1985 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, William grew up in North Brunswick and graduated from North Brunswick Township High School in 2003.  He loved cooking, fishing with his Papa, playing the guitar, movies (especially Scarface), and lightheartedly pushing buttons.  Blessed with a gentle, loyal heart and love of laughter, William made friends wherever he went and babies and animals alike were drawn to him.

William relocated to Boca Raton, Florida in 2010.  There, he met his wife, Diana (Basilashvili), and they welcomed a beautiful baby boy, Nicolai ("Nico") William, into the world on January 30, 2015.  Diana and Nico loved William and will miss him deeply.

A treasured son and brother, William is also survived by his parents, Paula (Sieminski) and James Devansky of Monroe, NJ, his brothers, Paul Carmine Ferrara of Monroe, NJ and Matthew Devansky of Jersey City, NJ, and his sister, Melissa Ferrara, and her husband Sean Hadley of Moorestown, NJ.  William was predeceased by his father, Paul Ferrara, and his maternal grandparents, William ("Bill") and Pauline Sieminski of North Brunswick, NJ.

A viewing in memory of William will be held on Saturday, September 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Gary Panoch Funeral Home in Boca Raton, FL, with a prayer service to commence at 1:00 p.m.  Friends can greet the family at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 15 at Our Lady of Peace in North Brunswick, NJ, where a funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m.
