It is with deep sadness that the family of Walter John Orchard announce his passing on February 7, 2026.

Beloved husband to Rosa, proud and loving father of Ashley and Jami and their respective husbands Jeremy Hoders and Tre Roddam. Grandfather of Hudson, Bree, Daniel, Alessya, and Luca. Brother to Wayne Orchard, sister to Denise Moore and Uncle to Rhandi Paszkiewicz & Tara Orchard-Sarlo.

Walter was a kind heart, a great friend, and a veteran- having served in Vietnam; he dedicated his life to serving others.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, pride, generosity, kindness, delicious recipes and so much more.

Cremation services have taken place.

Family will receive friends 11am - 1pm with a 12pm noon service at the funeral home on Monday, March 2 2026- what would have been his 78th birthday. Burial will follow with full military honors will be held at the South Florida VA National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL

A celebration of life will follow at Embarcadero 41 (E41) restaurant in Boca Raton.
