Vicki Ann Barth, died Dec. 17, at Hospice By The Sea. She was born Aug. 17, 1946 In Saginaw, MI and was adopted as an infant by Maurice and Harriet Schmidt. Vicki moved to Ft. Lauderdale with her parents in 1948 where she attended Ft. Lauderdale High School and the University of Florida. She graduated with a teaching degree from FAU. In 1970, she married Sid Barth, the love of her life for forty plus years. She also survived by Lucas Barth, her pride and joy. Vicki was an Elementary School teacher in Broward and Palm Beach Counties for 31 y ears. She was a member of Delta Kappa till her retirement in 2010 from Addison Mizner. She loved caring for her family, her students and mentoring young teachers. She also enjoyed her numerous cats and dogs, recently Lola and Grace. She is survived by her beloved husband Sid, loving son Lucas, step family Janice and Dale Schmidt, Denise and James Keszcowsky, Carla and Dylan Clark. A Memorial Service will be held Thurs, 2pm at the funeral home.
