Vesta Nicolas-Kersaint Flemens

January 17, 1943 – September 13, 2017

Vesta Flemens, 74, mother of four, died September 13, 2017.

Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti she was the daughter of Clovis Kersaint and Louisa Nicolas. Vesta was a beloved mother, sister, friend and tenacious servant of God; a fighter who loved the Lord. Vesta, mom, grandma and effectionally known as ti-ta by her sisters, cared deeply about everyone in her family and her church. She was a woman who loved her children, family, friends and helping others. She was an unbossed, unapologetic  "queen in her own castle."  She lived and loved life to the fullest and laughed and danced through it.  She will be dearly, and forever missed.

Mom, "Sr. Vesta," "Ti-ta," is survived by daughters Natasha Flemens-Hyppolite, Kathia Flemens, Debby Flemens,  and Judith Bien-Aimé – Jasmin; her Son-in-laws Carl Hyppolite and Ernst Jasmin. Additionally she leaves behind grandchildren: Theodore Hyppolite, Gabrielle Hyppolite, Andrew Hyppolite, Abigail Flemens, Elizabeth Perry, Braylon "Sanny" Perry, Jordan Jasmin, Riana Jasmin, Brandon Jasmin and Jiana Jasmin. She is also survived by her siblings: Lauraine Constant, Paulette Nicolas, Marie-Igit Kersaint – sisters- and Antoine Paul Kersaint and Clovis Kersaint – brothers. Along with a host of nieces and nephews, Herlin Pierre, Gina Vertil, Betina Kaminski. Ruth Constant, Varconi Spencer Constant, Laura Diane Constant, Katouchka Phisemond, Josué Kersaint, Alexandra Kersaint; Cousins: Evelyn Phisemond, Marie-Ena Monisiet-Cornely, Lukner Kersaint, the Paul, Augustin and Antoine family, and many more family, loved ones and friends. The beloved Sr. Vesta will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 9:30am at Bethel Mission International Fellowship, Boca Raton.
