Timothy Joel Dickinson, lovingly known as Tim or Timmy, passed away on December 17, 2025, in Delray Beach, Florida, at the age of 64. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, however, he grew up on Long Island, New York, which is where he built his life, career, and family. In 2019, Tim relocated to Florida, where he spent his final years.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Robert H. Dickinson. He is survived by his beloved mother, Dorothy Dickinson; his cherished daughter, Molly Dickinson Lizotte, and her husband, Joe; his former wife, Julia Yasinsky; his brother, Todd Dickinson, and wife Susan; his sister, Lynn Dickinson, and husband Thomas Lynch; and his nieces and nephews, Annie Dickinson, Charley Dickinson and his wife Ashley and son Calvin, Christopher Lynch, and Elizabeth Lynch.

A graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, Tim spent most of his career working in New York City in printing sales and production management. While he took pride in his work, Tim truly lived for —watching the Detroit Lions and other Michigan sport teams, playing and watching golf, horse racing, and spending time with people he loved. He treasured lifelong friendships from Manhasset High School. He also loved cooking; his specialties were wings, ribs, and crab cakes.

Tim will be remembered for his sharp wit and great sense of humor. He was quick with a joke and very funny. His kindness and big heart were felt by everyone who knew him. Above all, Tim's greatest joy in life was his daughter Molly. He was immensely proud of her, cherished every moment as her dad, and was looking forward to the birth of his first grandchild.

Over the past year, Tim fought cancer with incredible courage and strength. His bravery and humor never faded. Tim passed away surrounded by family. A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
