Col. Thomas George Evans, age 87, of Boca Raton, FL and formerly of Pittsfield MA and Rochester, NY, passed away peacefully on March 16. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Tom was predeceased by his sister Margaret Ann Holmes. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Joan, his four children; Elizabeth (Dean), Meg (Joe), Catherine (Russ), and Tom (Moira), and his 12 grandchildren. In addition, he is survived by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tom and Pat Large, and numerous nieces and nephews. He graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1945 and was immediately drafted into the Navy. Upon the end of the war, he entered Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He also joined the Army Reserves, from which he retired as a Colonel. Tom was a long-time employee of the Eastman Kodak Company and proud member of Oak Hill Country Club.

A memorial service and interment at Arlington National Cemetery will be held at a date to be determined.
