Thomas "Tom" Keith Braun

June 17, 1977–November 5, 2025

Thomas "Tom" Braun, of Deerfield Beach, Florida, passed away on November 5, 2025, at the age of 48. Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Tom brought humor, kindness, and warmth to everyone who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his mom, Elizabeth "Beth" Ploog in 2018. He is survived by his beloved wife of 14 years, Jennifer (Jen) (née Tautges); his father, George; his brother, Mike (Jill) Braun; his sister, Amanda "Mandy" Campbell; and his cherished nieces and nephews including, Quinn (Campbell), Hadley, and Harper.

Tom was most recently a bartender at the Lion & Eagle English Pub in Boca Raton, where his easy-going nature and sense of humor made him a favorite among both coworkers and patrons. A talented cook and generous friend, Tom loved preparing meals for others and was always happiest when surrounded by good company, laughter, and great food.

Tom enjoyed golfing with friends, being on or near the water, and spent many younger years water skiing. He was also a great bowler. The lucky ones have witnessed his trick shot which ended in a strike "most" of the time. Known for his corny jokes, quick wit, and big heart, Tom had a gift for making people smile and for looking after those around him.

Tom will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His memory will live on in every shared laugh, every good meal, and every moment of kindness inspired by his example.

Tom's family is coordinating Celebrations of Life in both Florida & Minnesota (November 23).
