Stephanie Shapiro, of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025, at the age of 77. Born in Queens, New York, Stephanie was a vibrant and devoted woman whose warmth and resilience touched all who knew her.

Stephanie was the loving wife of the late Leonard Shapiro.

Together, they shared 43 years of marriage, building a life grounded in laughter, and companionship. She was the adored mother of Stacie Shapiro and the late Adam Shapiro, and the cherished grandmother to Asher, her beloved granddog.

A proud graduate of Manhattan Community College, Stephanie earned her associate degree in applied science and went on to become a successful business owner. She operated Strathmore Bagels for a decade, managed Stacie's Bagels for over ten years, and later owned Lenny's New York Grille. She also worked as a hostess and cashier at Poppies Restaurant and Deli, where her presence was far more than a job—it was a gift to patrons and colleagues alike.

Stephanie's passion for life was evident in everything she did. She loved to work, travel, and shop, and was known as a social butterfly who made friends wherever she went. Aruba held a special place in her heart, and she formed many lifelong friendships during her visits there. Her strength was immeasurable, her spirit unbreakable, and her smile unforgettable.

She was the beloved sister of Gail Krumholtz and Adrienne Mavragis and was preceded in death by her brother Greg Schneider. Stephanie was also the devoted daughter of Jack and Julia Schnieder.

Stephanie made life look easy, even when it wasn't. Her grace, sincerity, and boundless energy were a source of comfort and inspiration to those around her.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered

A funeral service will be held Sunday, November 16, 2025, 12:00pm noon at Gary Panoch Funeral Home, 6140 N Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL 33487.
