Shirley "Ann" Kreider , of Boca Raton, FL previously, Yardley, PA passed away peacefully June 23, 2018 after a short illness.
Born October 21, 1936 in North Manchester, Indiana, Ann later graduated from Nursing School. After doing some practicums on the Indianapolis Speedway (which led to a family tradition around the race) she had a long and successful career in Nursing. A versatile career spanning the Operating Room, Medical Surgery, General Floor and Gerontology (SNF) was completed in Discharge Planning from acute care in Trenton, NJ.
She spent endless hours volunteering not only in Morrisville, PA but here in Boca Raton, FL with her church. Most recently quilting for the First United Methodist Children's home and the children aging out of foster care. If not volunteering, Ann loved to spend time at the beach or with her extended family.
Ann will be lovingly remembered by her sister Sandra Burch and her children and their families: Lisa (Wyatt & Timothy), Laura (Austin, Taylor-Rose-Aidan, & Shelby), Brent (MaryEllen, Zac, Zach, Jacob & Delanie) and Brad (Melinda).
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018, 1pm at the First United Methodist Church, 9087 Glades Road, Boca Raton, 33434. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Ann Kreider to First United Methodist Church of Boca Raton, 625 NE Mizner Blvd, Boca Raton, FL 33432.
