Ronald "Ron" Zimnitzky, age 60, of Boca Raton, Florida passed away at home on February 6, 2021.
Ron was born on August 18, 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland.  He earned a Bachelor's Degree from Towson State University and a Master's Degree from Johns Hopkins University.  Throughout his adult life, Ron worked in business and sales.  He loved talking to and getting to know others.  He was energetic and outgoing.  He enjoyed the ocean, boating, watching sports and following politics.  He loved living in Florida - going to the beach, spending time with friends, and enjoying the outdoors.
For many years, Ron struggled with alcoholism.  He had many friends in the recovery community who cared about and helped him.
Ron will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Irene; his sister, Karen; his brother, Brian; his brother-in-law, Kurt; his nieces, Megan, Katie and Emily; and his grand-nephews, Rhett and Daxton.  Ron was predeceased by his father, Nicholas "Jack" Zimnitzky.
Ron was cremated at Gary Panoch Funeral Home & Cremations.  Due to the COVID pandemic, Ron's family will be holding a memorial service at a later date.
