Robert Eugene Schrum, age 84, of Hollywood, FL, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 2, 2013 at his residence. He was born July 13, 1928 in Lincoln County to the late Edison Lee Schrum and Hettie Wilkinson Schrum.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Schrum, one son, James Ronald Schrum, two brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by one son, Robert E. Schrum, Jr. of Dania FL, five daughters, JoAnn Moreen and her husband Robert, Janet Unbankes, Katherine Stratton, and Debra Fleener, all of Hollywood, FL, and Dorothy Huff and her husband Edward of Lakeland, FL, one brother, Kenneth Schrum of Lincolnton and one sister Mary Caldwell of Charlotte, 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Goodin-Drum Funeral Home at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 6, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. The interment will be at St. Matthew's United Church of Christ.
