Rita Labelle, was born in Aruba Jan 29, 1933. She came to the states in 1955 where she met and married her husband, Joe. She moved to Boca Raton  in 1967 as one of the first IBM families. Here, she raised 5 children. She was very active in her parish, St. Joan of Arc where all her children attended.  She loved playing bridge and bingo. After the  passing of her beloved husband she worked at IBM for many years before retiring in 1988. She is survived by her five children; George (Laurie), Betsy (Joe) Nieporte, Louise (Rob) Flechaus, Bob Labelle, Grace Stetina, grandchildren; Danielle, Brittani, Joey, Brooke, Trey, Robert, Thomas, Michael, Joseph and  James. Family will receive friends Thursday, June 8, 2017, 6-8pm at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, June 9, 2017 11am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Boca Raton. Entombment will follow at the Boca Raton Mausoleum.
