Richard Bradford Trainer

Richard (Dickie) Bradford Trainer, 90, of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away at his home on July 19, 2026.

Born in 1936 in Whitman, Massachusetts, and raised in East Boston, Richard headed west to Los Angeles as a teenager. After a career with Pacific Pump in California, Richard retired and relocated to Boca Raton. There, he worked in security at Presidential Place and spent his later years enjoying life on the ocean, which he dearly loved.

Richard was the loving son of the late Bertha Newell Trainer and Percy Bradford Trainer. He is survived by his sisters Nancy Vargus of Massachusetts, June Conroy of Rhode Island, and Linda Gallo and her husband Peter of North Carolina. He was predeceased by his brother Alton Trainer of South Carolina, and his sisters Marion Sordillo of Maine and Barbara Durkee of Massachusetts. He also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.

An avid sports fan, Richard had a passion for all Boston teams and always looked forward to trips to Las Vegas.
