Richard "Rick" Swanson, 56 years old, of Deerfield Beach, FL, formerly of East Haven, CT, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021 after a short battle with COVID-19.
Rick grew up in East Haven, CT and attended East Haven High School. He had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles, but nothing compared to the love he had for his daughter. He was a superintendent for Cannatelli Builders.
Rick is survived by his daughter Katelyn and her mother Lynn Swanson, stepdaughter Michelle Koscielak, stepson Tyler Smith, father Edward (Joan), brothers, Eddie, Kevin (Debi), Todd (Carolyn), stepsister Randee (George) Vasilakos, stepbrother Neil Bernstein, several nieces and nephews and step-grandchildren, and an abundance of extended family and dear friends.  He was preceded in death by his mother Vivian.
Visitation for Rick will be held on Sunday, September 19, from 2:00PM to 6:00PM, at Gary Panoch Funeral Home, 6140 N. Fed. Hwy. Boca Raton, FL 33487.
