In Loving Memory of Rick Kent Eaton Sr.

Rick Kent Eaton Sr., 80, of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on July 1, 1946, in Rockford, Illinois, Rick lived a life defined by honor, loyalty, and an unwavering love for his family and the outdoors. He proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps from August 4, 1964, to August 4 1968. His military service reflected the strength of character and dedication that he carried with him throughout his life.

Rick shared a lifelong love with his devoted wife, Dee Patterson Eaton, whose steadfast companionship was one of the greatest blessings of his life. Together they built a family that became his greatest pride and joy.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Dee; his five children; numerous grandchildren; and great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry forward his legacy of strength, resilience, and unconditional love.

Those who knew Rick knew there were few things that brought him more happiness than being out on the water with a fishing pole in hand. Fishing wasn’t just a hobby—it was his passion and where he found peace. He was also an avid Harley-Davidson rider and a proud member of the Nom Knights Motorcycle Club, embracing the freedom of the open road and the lifelong friendships that came with it.

Rick will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his commitment to those he loved, and the many memories he created with family and friends. His presence will be deeply missed, but his stories, laughter, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in knowing that his legacy endures through the family he cherished, the lives he touched, and the countless memories that will forever remind us of the remarkable man he was.
