Richard "Dick" Joseph Connors, 84, of Boca Raton, peacefully passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Boca Regional Hospital in Boca Raton, Florida.

Dick was born to Joseph and Kathleen Connors on March 16, 1937 in Binghamton, New York. He was a devout Catholic and loved his family, a good joke, and sports, especially his beloved Boston Red Sox. Dick married the love of his life, Patricia Condon in 1958. Together they raised two wonderful children and created a strong and loving family unit. Dick began his 30-year career with IBM in Binghamton and relocated his family to Boca Raton, Florida in 1967. Family, community, and service were a driving force in his life. He was a hand's on family man and enjoyed every aspect of family life; coaching, homework, and taste tester. He was an active parishioner at St. Joan of Arc and most recently St. Jude, where he was a founding member. He was a prominent figure at most St. Andrew's Estates' social functions (hard as that is to believe!) Dick knew no stranger and had an insatiable sense of humor. His jokes, or his hankie, could make any day better.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Kathleen Connors; sisters Patricia Sullivan, Geraldine Ewing, and Jean Winsor; and son in law Denis McFadden.

Dick is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia Connors; daughter Suzanne McFadden; son Vincent Connors (Clio Connors); granddaughters Alyssa Whitcomb (Ryan Whitcomb), Stephanie McFadden (Joe McFadden), Melodie Connors and Ella Connors; great-grandchildren Ansley Whitcomb, Denver McFadden, Emerson McFadden, and Hudson Whitcomb; sister Margaret Lovelady; brother in law David Condon; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held at 10 am Thursday, January 27, 2022, at St. Jude Catholic Church 21689 Toledo Road Boca Raton FL 33433. Private burial will follow at the Boca Raton Mausoleum.
