Richard Allen Chisholm Jr. was born at Good Samaritan Hospital on March 11, 1956. He left this world on February 4, 2020 in his home in West Palm Beach, Florida, holding his wife's hand. Richard was the first of six sons for the late Richard and Karen Chisholm. He grew up in Boca Raton with his brothers Ronnie, Randy, Russell, Robert, and Ryan, with whom he has always held special relationships. He graduated from Cardinal Gibbons High School in Ft. Lauderdale in 1974. Richard met the love of his life, Denise Pizano Chisholm, in 1977 and promptly married her on May 14,1978. They celebrated 41 years together in 2019. The pair had two daughters, Nicole and Andrea, and moved to Lake Worth to raise them.

Richard served his country in the US army national guard as a band musician, and spent most of his life working in the field of construction. He was a brilliant, self-taught virtuoso of multiple instruments, but piano was always his favorite. He played the organ every Sunday at mass and demonstrated his musical talents at special gigs whenever he was given the chance. He loved sharing the joy of a good song and good food.

Richard was a dreamer and he filled our lives with music and fun. He was both proud and generous. He was a doting husband, a caring father, a loyal brother, and a huge part of the lives of his sons-in-law, Seiji and Trent. He adored his grandchildren, Derek, Leia, and Margaux, and they adored him back. We will forever miss his wheezing laughter.

Richard Allen Chisholm Jr. is survived by his wife, Denise, his daughters and sons-in-law, Nicole (Seiji), Andrea (Trent), his grandchildren, Derek, Leia, and Margaux, and his five brothers Ron (Angie), Russell (Patty), Rand (Lisa), Robert (Sarah) and Ryan (Emily) and their families.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Gary Panoch Funeral Home and Cremations at 6140 North Federal Highway in Boca Raton, Florida from 5 PM to 8 PM.

A mass of Christian Burial  will be held on Monday, February 10, 2020 at Ascension Catholic Church at 7250 North Federal Highway in Boca Raton, Florida  at 11 AM. A celebration of his life will follow directly after the service at his home in West Palm Beach. All are welcome to come pay their respects and share stories of his life.
