IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Raimundo
Dias
June 28, 1941 – October 26, 2025
Raimundo Dias Age 84, of Boca Raton, Florida, Passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, surrounded by the love and prayers of his devoted family.
Raimundo is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Maria V. Dias; his children Raimundo Dias Jr. (Maria), Laura M Dias, and Rosangela M. Dias; his cherished grandchildren Matthew D., Michael R., Valentina B., Fabrizio B., Sophia D., and Victoria B.; his brothers José and Cícero; and his sisters Geni, Maria, and Josefa. Each of them carries forward the warmth, wisdom, and strength he so generously shared.
Born in Alagoas, Brazil, Raimundo's life was a testament to resilience, love, and unwavering dedication. A former lightweight boxing champion of São Paulo, he embodied discipline and courage qualities that defined not only his time in the ring but every chapter of his life. After a match in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Raimundo famously said, "I may have lost the fight, but I found the love of my life." That love, Maria, became his lifelong partner in both marriage and business.
Together, Raimundo and Maria built a life rooted in hard work and elegance. From managing a bustling store on 34th Street across from Macy's to founding La'Mour Perfume in Santa Rosa, Puerto Rico, Raimundo brought charisma, style, and heart to everything he touched. His entrepreneurial spirit was matched only by his devotion to family and community.
Raimundo found joy in boxing, traveling, and most of all, in the company of those he loved. He was a loyal husband, a nurturing father, a proud grandfather, uncle and a treasured brother and friend. His laughter filled rooms, his stories inspired generations, and his presence brought comfort and strength.
He will be remembered not only for his accomplishments, but for the way he made others feel seen, valued, and loved. His legacy lives on in the lives he shaped and the memories he leaves behind.
Raimundo will be laid to rest in his homeland of Brazil, returning to the soil that first nurtured his remarkable journey. May his soul rest in peace, and may his life continue to be a guiding light for all who knew him.
