Peter DiSalvo, 92, of Boca Raton, FL, passed away October 6, 2017. He is survived by his beloved wife, Filippa, loving children; Jean (Ron) Sikkema of Liberty, SC, and Peter (Mary Johnson) of Plattsburgh, NY, brothers; Frank of Boca Raton, Andrea of Sicily, sisters; Filomena (Tony) Marullo and Mary LaFuente all of Boca Raton, grandchildren; Peter B. Gerard and Salina Sikkema, great-grandson David Sikkema and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Francesco and Gelsomina (Bottillo) DiSalvo and son Frank. Peter was born in Bagheria, Sicily and moved to upstate NY where he ran a successful tailoring business. Pete was past Grand Knight of Council 7166 in Boca Raton and was a member of the 4th Degree Assembly and the Ascension Men's Club. He enjoyed working on his computer and watching soccer. He always liked a good debate and enjoyed playing cards and especially the "prayer meetings." Pete will always be remembered for being a good father and family man and will be missed by all. Family will receive friends Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017, 2-4 & 6-8pm at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, October 11, 2017, 11am a Ascension Catholic Church.
