Paul Andrew Moore "Coach Moore," of Miami, FL, went to his eternal rest on November 13, 2011. He was born on October 2nd, 1953 in Springfield, MA to Joan and Donald Moore. Mr. Moore was a teacher at Carol City High School for 28 years where he coached the girl's basketball team for 17 years. He led the "Lady Chiefs" to the State Championship in 1990 and runner-up in 1999. Mr. Moore was also very active in the United Teachers of Dade County Union, spending his time trying to improve life for the working class and poor. Paul received much in ability; He gave much more than his fair share back to the world. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his son Andrew Fredrick Moore in 2007. Paul is survived by his Mother and Father, son Patrick Cyrus Moore of Miami, and four sisters: Kathleen Schneider of Destin, FL, Rosanne Butler, Mary Voorhees, and Theresa Perrotta, all of Boca Raton, FL, five nieces and nephews: Donald Schneider of Atlanta, GA, Robert Schneider of Athens, GA, Grace and Bridget Perrotta of Boca Raton, FL, and Connor Voorhees of Boca Raton, FL, along with many wonderful friends. Services will be private with interment at the family cemetery in Rose Hill, NC. In his memory, donations can be made to Hospice By The Sea in Boca Raton, FL.
