Paul Gerard DeWald of Boca Raton, Florida passed away at the age of 70 on Monday, February 7th, 2022.

Paul was born on March 8th, 1951 in Teaneck, NJ.  He was married to his wife Nancy for 35 years.

He moved from South Dakota in 1995 to South Florida because he loved the Florida weather.  He worked in the financial world for over 30 years with Citibank and American Express.

He enjoyed golfing, card & board games, gardening, and listening to audiobooks.  His favorite pastimes were watching his children's involvement in sports, playing with his grandchildren, tinkering in the garage, and taking cruises around the world with his wife.

He is survived by his wife Nancy, his son Spencer (and his wife Apphia DeWald), and his daughter Quinn (and her husband George Pribble) along with his four grandchildren Bennett DeWald, Shepherd DeWald, Tessa DeWald, and Brooks Pribble.  Paul was known as "Bumpa" to his grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Frank, Rob, and Larry; his sisters Edie and Mary (Rinehart) along with many nieces and nephews.   He was preceded in death by his parents Francis & Edith DeWald.

He and his family were a vital part of Above and Beyond Community Church for more than 25 years.  Paul was always willing to serve wherever he was needed.  His church family will miss him dearly.

Paul's memorial will be held at Above and Beyond Community Church (7500 E Country Club Blvd, Boca Raton, FL 33487) on Saturday, February 12th promptly at 11 am EST.  Lunch will be provided.

Charitable donations can be made in Paul's name to one of his favorite charities Tunnel to Towers or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
