Patricia Louise Annis was born April, 23, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois. February 21, 1955 she was married to the love of her life, and on February 21, 2012 she joined her beloved husband, John Michael Annis Sr. just in time for what would have been their 57th wedding anniversary.

In her youth, she was an avid and fantastic swimmer who even swam in the choppy waters of Lake Michigan. Her hobbies included boating, socializing, and dancing. She had a true love and appreciation for music that was passed down through generations. She always enjoyed the ocean and loved to be in the sun, but she didn't need a tan to be glowing. Her enthusiastic , charming personality, and gleaming smile were plenty enough to make anyone in her presence feel the warmth and beauty of her spirit. She always had a way of making things special and anyone that knew her can attest to the fact that any day with Patricia was like a holiday. Patricia was extremely kind and compassionate and undoubtedly has left a legacy of positive and beautiful memories for all those who had the honor of knowing her. She was a grand and elegant woman with a zest for life that was unrivaled. Patricia was a beautiful woman who remained young at heart , but carried the wisdom of ages. She was an outstanding friend to those that knew her and will forever hold a place in the hearts of those who were fortunante enough to have known her. She was one of a kind and will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Patricia is survived by her sister Edith Millward. Patricia was a loving mother to four children, John Annis, Valerie Ragsdale, Timothy Annis, and Victoria Meder. Patricia was also blessed with five wonderful grandchildren, Amanda Wheaton, Kelly Hubertus, Katherine Crites, Anthony Amatore, and Michael Annis and she was a great grandmother to Fiona Wheaton.
