Norman S. Wilson of Boca Raton Fl passed away at St. Andrews Estates on June 21, 2024.

He was born in Crisfield Maryland. on April 16, 1931 and spent his childhood living in Mexico. Norm returned to the US to attend the University of Delaware and then served in the US Army for 2 years. Following his discharge, he began a successful career with Remington Arms retiring as Director of Government Sales. He continued to be active in his community and was elected as the "Fire Tax Collector" for the Nichols Fire District for many years, always enduring a loving "Boo" from the crowd, when tax millage rates increases were discussed. Norm also became an active volunteer in the Trumbull Emergency medical services, along with working for Monroe EMS as an EMT IV tech. Nichols United Methodist Church was also an important part of his life where he served as an usher and participated in the choir for many years.

Norm is survived by his son, "Hank" Wilson of Boca Raton. Grandchildren Jason Wilson, Shannon Wilson both from Connecticut. Andrew (Anna) Wilson of Boynton Beach Fl., Kurt Wilson (Natasha) Boca Raton Fl., Kristina Wilson Boca Raton Fl., and Daniel "Danny" Wilson of Connecticut, Great grandchildren Parker Wilson of Boca Raton Fl. Ava Wilson of Boynton Beach Fl. Brother, George R. "Rich" (Joyce) Wilson of New Castle Delaware, nieces Betty (Tom) Rohe, Linda (Steve) Cooke. Norman was predeceased by his parents George and Doris Wilson, his loving wife and bride of 66 years Mary H. Wilson and his son George N. Wilson. A celebratory service will be held on Saturday July 27 @ 10:30 am at the Nichols United Methodist Church Trumbull Ct. In Lieu of flowers donations are suggested to be made to the Nichols Fire Department or Trumbull EMS in his name.
