Obituary

Norma Bruschi Sarama

(March 14, 1931 - March 25, 2025)

Norma was born on March 14, 1931 in Bruceton, PA (just outside of Pittsburgh) to Paul and Mary Bruschi. Growing up, she lived in Bruceton, PA and attended Snowden High School. While living there, Norma met and married Bob Sarama and had four children, Janice, Tom, Jim and Bill. They eventually moved to Miramar, FL in 1972. She worked for Florida Vocational Rehabilitation as an administrative assistant for 20 years before retiring in 1994. After she retired, she and Bob moved to a retirement community called The Villages at Lady Lake, FL. There they enjoyed 18 active years with many friendships. She mostly enjoyed playing golf with her friends and occasionally Bob. Health issues made them move to Deerfield Beach in 2013, where they could be near their children.

Norma was known by many names - loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. We, her children, are grateful to the many relatives and friends who loved and cared for her throughout her entire life.

Norma is survived by daughter Janice (John) Sarama, son Tom (Maylene) Sarama, son Bill Sarama, grandson Robert (Annie) Sarama, great grandsons John Sarama, Toby Sarama, grandson Scott (Megan) Power, great granddaughter Emmy Power, granddaughter Zanna (Bobby) Boland, great grandson Marty Boland, and grandson John (Maria) Sasso, great grandson Liam Sasso. She is predeceased by her husband, Bob Sarama and son Jim Sarama.

On March 25, 2025, our beloved Norma passed peacefully from this life to her eternal home with Our Heavenly Father. A memorial mass will take place at 11 AM on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at the chapel of St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Coral Springs, FL.
