Archibald, Nancy J. Burns, "Nanci," 85, of Delray Beach, Florida, formerly  of Everett Massachusetts, passed away at home of natural causes on February 12, 2025.

Born January 17, 1940, in Malden, Massachusetts.  Nanci resided in Everett for over 50 years until relocating in 2017, to Delray Beach, Florida, to be closer to family.

Known as a  "spitfire", Nanci enjoyed an active social life and her flair for fashion including wild sunglasses that matched every outfit!  Nanci will be remembered for her love of family and her beloved dogs..

Nanci was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Rufo Shanniak and David Burns, her sisters, Valerie Carfargna and Shirley Ray.  She is survived by her nieces:  Candy Tempesta Brown, Debra Cote Mendes, Laura Cote and nephews Arthur Cote and JW Ray as well as five great niece and nephews and six great-great nieces and nephew.

As per Nanci's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. Nanci will rest with her four dogs Zelda, Zak, Baby and Honey and with her beloved mother and sister at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett, Massachusetts.
