Michael Joseph "Mike" Barone, 66, a resident of Delray Beach, FL, passed away February 23, 2023, at his home. He was born September 5, 1956, in Chicago, IL to the late Joseph and Christine Barone. Michael is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 40 years, Kathleen (Weaver), his children Michael (Sabrina) Barone of Chicago, IL and Meghan (Eric) Schaar of DeWitt, Michigan, his grandson Finnigan Schaar, his sister Christine Lotzer, and many nieces and nephews.

Michael was a dedicated and hard worker for over 40 years as he climbed the ladder in sales management. He met Kathy in 1981 and they were married April 16, 1983, in Arlington Heights, IL. Michael lived an incredible life, one in which he was able to spoil his children and family, enjoy travels around the world, and become the best Grumps his grandson could ask for. He leaves behind many friends and a family devasted that he did not get more time to enjoy the golf course, retired life in Florida, or meet his second grandson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 15, 2023, in Arlington Heights, IL 12pm-3pm, 1044 E Jules Arlington Hts, Illinois 60004 Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ALS Association.
