Melissa Ann Munoz (Missy), age 46 and resident of Delray Beach, FL, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 4, 2024. Born October 1, 1978 in Westchester County, NY, Melissa had a passion for music and singing, she excelled at sports, loved science fiction especially Star Wars. She graduated from Fordham University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and later overcame many obstacles to realize her goal of obtaining a Master's degree in Business Administration from Regis University. Melissa excelled as a talented Project Manager for several healthcare companies, and just recently as a Project Manager for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. She loved to be the life of the party and kept everyone laughing with her quick wit and contagious laughter. She loved to tell stories about "the good 'ol days" and never missed an opportunity to talk about her "mini doxins": Peanut, Solara, and Ralphie, aka her babies.

Melissa loved her family, both natural and those she considered family. Her roots began in Yonkers, NY but it wasn't long before she moved to south Florida in her early 20's and has called it home ever since. She was predeceased by her father William Munoz and is survived by her mother, Christine Munoz, her sister, Dana Bucaj, brother-in-law, Eduard Bucaj and their children, Besa, Leka and wife Zoe, Shpresa, Delena and Iliriana. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her dearly.

Melissa will be waked from 1pm to 2pm on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Gary Panoch Funeral Home, 6140 N. Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL 33487. She will then be waked in New York at Beecher Funeral Home, 418 Bedford Road, Pleasantville, NY 10570 followed by a graveside burial at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
