Matteo Bruno Rosio (aka Matty), age 92, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on July 8th, 2017 in Coconut Creek, FL. He was born on February 8th, 1925 in Little Italy, New York to Ciro Rosio and Giovanni Giannini. He was married to Emilia Maria Mule on November 21st, 1959.

Matteo was interested in ballroom dancing, raising show birds (pigeons), hunting, Swing, Big Band, and Italian music, and spending time with his family. In his lifetime, he was a successful businessman, wonderful father, grandfather, and husband. He had a magnetic and charming personality which made everyone he met love him instantly. In the ballroom, he had a way of enticing the ladies with his wondrous footwork. He was a perfectionist and a professional in every aspect of his life. He was the type of man who succeeded at everything he did. He taught and passed on all of these wonderful qualities to his 3 children and granddaughter. He had the kindest heart and he will be missed immensely by everyone that ever knew him.

He is survived by daughter Joann Marie Petersell, son Matthew Rosio, daughter Robin Ann Rosio-Quinones, and granddaughter Brianne Emilie Rosio-Quinones.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in the Chapel on Tuesday July 11th, 2017 at 10AM. 10935 S Military Trail, Boynton Beach, FL 33436 1-561-737-3095

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 11, 2017, 10am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Boynton Beach. Burial will be held in NY.
