Mary Kay Witham-Schwab, 81, of Boynton Beach, FL passed on Sunday, September 25, 2022. Mary Kay was born on 12/11/1940 Gary, IN. She graduated from Wirt High School in 1959, Drake University in 1963 with a B. A. In 1979-1980, she studied in Chicago at the Berlitz School of Language. She achieved her M.S. in Education from Indiana University Northwest Graduate School in 1981, and in 1990 she received a scholarship from the French Government to study in Strasbourg, France. Mary Kay taught English and French from 1963- 2004. She was a talented artist and used a variety of mediums including; oil, Prisma Color pencils, watercolor and charcoal. She was a dedicated mother, wife, teacher and she loved her pets and animals, especially horses.
Mary Kay is survived by her two daughters, two brothers, five grandchildren and her dog. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Melville J Schwab Jr. of 27 years.
Family will receive friends, Sunday, October 2, 2022, from 2-5pm with a 4:30pm service at Gary Panoch Funeral Home, 6140 N. Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL 33487.
