Mary Ann Wheeler, 73, of Boca Raton, Florida passed away at home on December 3, 2021.

Born November 13, 1948, in Owensboro, Kentucky, Mary Ann grew up in Jackson, Michigan and moved to Boca Raton in 1974. Mary Ann and her husband, Doug, were self-employed for over 50 years.

Mary Ann brought a complete trust and love of Our Lord to all she did. After having been called in her heart to join a Right to Life group, and finding none in her area, she founded Birthline, Inc. in Boca Raton in 1974. She started a Catholic Girls Club for homeschoolers and taught religious education for over ten years. Mary Ann was always active in her church community. She hosted the Mother of Divine Grace Catholic Book Club and lead several Women of Grace Foundational Study Programs. Mary Ann also facilitated the Mother Mary Continuum Catholic Study for over 12 years.

Mary Ann will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband, Doug, of  51 years, her loving children; Patsy (Michael) Merrell-Davis, Ryan (Kim) Wheeler, Melissa (Bobby) Gockman and Angela Wheeler, her grandchildren; Christian, Hunter, Noah, Jackson, Charles Robert, Charles Michael, Jackie, Katie, Kayla, Amanda, Alexis, Dylan, Emmy and Scarlett, her siblings; Bonnie (Jim) Hendrickson, Alan (Ruth Ann) Thompson, Martha (Bryan) Watson, Dorothy (Bill) Riney and Jeannie Potter, twenty nieces and nephews, sixty-three great nieces and nephews and seven great great nieces and nephews. Mary Ann was predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Marie Thompson, her brother, Tommy Thompson and her brother-in-law, Bill Potter.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 10th, 2021, from 5pm-7pm pm at the Gary Panoch Funeral Home in Boca Raton. The Funeral Mass will be at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church on Saturday, December 11th, 2021, at 11 am. Burial will follow the funeral mass at the Boca Raton Cemetery. A Celebration of Mary Ann's Life will be held immediately following the burial.
