IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marisela
Perez-Barsh
August 16, 1956 – February 15, 2025
Marisela Perez-Barsh of Walton, WV and Lake Worth, FL went home to her "Papá" on February 15, 2025. Born August 16, 1956 in Rubio, Venezuela, Marisela came to Elkins, WV and graduated form Davis and Elkin's College with majors in Chemistry and Fashion Design. Marisela was a master tailor and owned Marisela's, a tailoring shop in Spencer, WV. She later became a registered nurse and worked in the surgical intensive care unit of CAMC Hospital in Charleston, WV for 20 years. She culminated her nursing career by earning her master's degree in nursing and becoming a family nurse practitioner.
Marisela was a wonderful cook and loved to entertain family and friends. She was talented at doing various crafts and a very stylish, vivacious, beautiful and spirited woman. Her faith in Jesus was of utmost importance to her and she was generous to a fault. She was the family barber and also kept our furry family well trimmed.
She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her beloved husband of 34 years, Larry, her loving daughter Kathryn Marie Lance, her loving stepdaughter Regina Sue Carpenter, three step-grandsons, Tim, Lane and Christopher, five brothers and sisters, twelve nieces and nephews, especially Yajaira and Evelio Cossio.
