Mario LoBasso, 88, of Deerfield Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025.

Born January 14, 1937, in Mount Vernon, New York, Mario was the son of the late Guiseppe and Rita (née Incantalupo) LoBasso. A proud U.S. Army veteran, Mario built a respected career in South Florida as the former owner of Pride Plumbing in Boca Raton and served the community as a plumbing inspector for the City of Boca Raton until his retirement in 2007.

Mario will be remembered not only for his professional dedication but also for his deep love of life. He found joy in trap shooting, golfing, and especially oil painting. Above all, he was known for his unwavering honesty and steadfast loyalty to his friends and family.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Melanie LoBasso; his son, Joseph (Harley) LoBasso; and his cherished grandchildren, Romi and Deven LoBasso. Mario also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Michael, Al, and Dom; and his sister, Margaret Turturro.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Gary Panoch Funeral Home, with a funeral service beginning at 3:00 PM.
