In Memoriam: Marie P. Touhy

Marie P. Touhy, aged 83, of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2024. Born in New Rochelle, New York, Marie lived a rich and meaningful life, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her.

Marie spent the majority of her life in New York, where she cultivated lasting relationships and cherished memories. In 2017, she embraced a new chapter, becoming a full-time resident of the warm and sunny Boca Raton, Florida. Throughout her journey, Marie exemplified strength, resilience, and a selfless devotion to the needs of others.

Marie's legacy is eternally intertwined with the love and companionship she shared with her beloved husband, Stephen. Their enduring bond was a testament to the power of love and commitment. Marie will be deeply missed by her children, Susan (Rob) and Michael (Kathy), who were the recipients of her boundless love and guidance. Her adored grandchildren, Tristan (Lauren) and Samantha, brought immense joy to her life, and she took pride in witnessing their growth and achievements.

In addition to her immediate family, Marie leaves behind her sister Liz (Karl), a source of enduring support and camaraderie, as well as a multitude of friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

A private/intimate family service to celebrate Marie's life will be held at St. Joan of Arc on Friday, February 9th, 2024. A subsequent burial will take place in New York, with the date yet to be decided.

Marie Touhy's legacy of love, compassion, and selflessness will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the eternal warmth of the memories she created and the love she shared.
